Some plugins watermark with white dots when they are not licensed. BG Renderer uses aerender to render which is a different render engine than the main app uses. Check to make sure all your plugins allow rendering using aerender. It is sometimes called a network rendering license since network rendering typically uses aerender as well. The first thing I would try is installing quicktime and see if it renders. I removed the BG_renderer shells from Terminal but the problem still remains. I used to run BG Renderer without any issues, but now I can't use it anymore. Anybody else has this issue?
