A dockable, searchable panel that contains a reference to all the After Effects keyboard shortcuts.

Looking for a shortcut key in After Effects? Well how about having access to a list of over 600+ shortcut keys without leaving the After Effects environment? Shortcut Key Reference v2 to the rescue. Give yourself an added advantage by learning shortcut keys for most of your everyday tasks. You’re a veteran AE user? Well it doesn’t hurt to have a quick reminder of a valuable shortcut key that maybe you didn’t use enough to memorize. I’ve been using AE for eleven years now myself and I am always finding new shortcut keys I didn’t realize were there.

Shortcut_Key_Reference_v2 is compatible with CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5. It includes both the Dropdown List and Listbox versions from the 2007 release, in one script. You can easily toggle which version you would like to view just by clicking a button. With the Listbox version, you can find shortcuts faster by typing in the search field.

Tip:

If the Shortcut file is incorrect and you need to re-choose the file, just click the “?” to bring up the help popup and click the “Select Shortcut File” button. This will allow you to choose the file again without relaunching the script.

Known issues:

- CS5 & CS5.5 Dropdown list menus are limited by the size of the script panel boundaries (see images below). So having a narrow panel height when script is docked, may limit the amount of items you are able to view at once. This is an After Effects program limitation beyond my control. CS3 and CS4 does not have this issue.

TimeSpan is a "Punch Clock" style time tracker to help you keep track of your hours within After Effects.

TimeSpan is a “Punch Clock” style time tracker. Originally built as a way to keep track of my own hours and pay when I was a freelancer. I have now modified it and am now making it available to the AE community. I hope you find it a useful tool.

Features:

Exports a .TXT (tab delimited) file to the folder of your choice.

Can log by Client Name or Project Name.

Logs your clock in time, clock out time, total hours, hourly pay rate and total pay

Can log multiple entries per document.

Reset button to clear accidental start time.

NOTE: As I always state in my manuals, computers can act up from time to time and if they crash, there is nothing I can do about that, so always pay attention to your pay and hours separately from this script and don’t make this script your only option to track your time and pay.

Export a document listing of your After Effects project assets

Simply put, Project Info List Exporter (ProjectI.L.E. for short) is a handy script that will allow you to export a document listing of your After Effects project assets.

Why use this instead of the built in “Collect” feature of After Effects? Well, Project Info List Exporter gives you options to actually customize your list allowing you to export a list of ONLY the missing files in your project as well as a list of just stills, comps, videos, audio or any combination you choose. You can even list every asset in your entire project if need be.

Labels options:
You can label assets by type…

Folders

Comps

Videos

Stills

Audio

Info options:
You can add asset info like…

Missing

File path location of asset

Comments you’ve made on asset in the Project panel

Missing Only option: Export only the missing assets in your project

File Formats:
You can export your list as…

Text File

Tab Delimited File

Comma Delimited File (.csv)

NOTE: A spreadsheet application, like Excel, is required to view tab delimited (.txt) or comma delimited (.csv) files correctly.

List Header:
All list exports will have a header that includes…

Project file name

Version of After Effects currently used at time of export

Version of operating system currently used at time of export

The date and time of export

A legend key will also appear if any of the “Label” or “Info” options are used
