IC Variable Diffusion Installation Error

    I'm running AE CS5 10.0.2.4, under OS X 10.6.8 on a MacPro5,1 6-core, 12GB RAM

    I dropped the VariableDiffusion.plugin into the Applications/AFter Effects CS5/Plug-ins folder
    The toolbox folder is also here, and the presets in the presets folder.

    I created a new comp, 16bpc, dropped in a solid layer, and applied Variable Diffusion.

    The first attempt returns the error message:
    After Effects error:  Couldn't find main entry point for VariableDiffusion.plugin  (48::72)

    On all subsequent attempts I get the error message:
    After Effects error:  invalid filter (25::3)

    Any ideas?
