Intro to After Effects Scripting course at fxphd

We are very happy to announce that fxphd.com is offering an introduction to After Effects scripting class.  We have gotten many requests to teach a course on scripting and we think partnering with fxphd is the best possible way for us to do it. Fxphd is the clear leader in online VFX training and we are very proud to be associated with them for this course. Lloyd Alvarez will be teaching the course with the aim to teach non-programmers. The only pre-requiste for the course will be a good working knowledge of After Effects since that will be the foundation that will be built upon.  The course will aim to teach you the basics necessary for you to write your own workflow solving scripts.

Here is the full course description and curriculum: http://www.fxphd.com/courses#AFX210

You can sign up here: https://www.fxphd.com/lounge/payments.php

We are trying to track how many people are referred from here so if you enter: lloydalvarez in the referring member field we’ll be able to track it.  Thanks in advance for that.

    • Yeah!! fxphd is the best (no, they did not pay me to say that). I took only two terms there, and will be back as soon as I have time. I think your class will fill a long empty hole and be very useful! (It’s about this time I wish fxphd sold individual classes;)

      Have fun!

    • I was so up for this !!

however I begrudge having to pay for three courses.

I don’t want to know about advanced Nuke or Flame on Red Dwarf !!!

fxphd is a great site and a great idea.. but you should be able to choose the amount of courses you want.

    • Lloyd:

Congratulations on your new course, I know it will be quite informative and a great value to those who attend.

Unfortunately, I’m one of those who doesn’t have the time nor the inclination to invest in the auxiliary courses. I hope at some future date, you’ll consider providing a independent scripting tutorial.

      Best wishes and regards,
      Scott

    • Hi,
I am really interested in this course, but when i go to fxphd site it is no longer available.
Is it going to be available again? If not, is there any other way to take this course?
