Based on a request over at aehancers.com this script takes the selected layers and parents each one to the layer above it.
You have the option to choose which order you want and will either parent to the layer above or to the layer below.

@Jadan – Ask and you shall receive. I updated the script with a preference to choose the order.
This is great! The one thing I would love to see would be the ALT/parent selection to a layer below. Its one of those tedious task that needs a helping hand from someone as talented as you.
The script parents each layer to the layer above, not all of them to the same parent. You cannot do this easily without a script, it would be a tedious process of doing them one by one
You can easily parent the selected layers to another layer without this script by selecting all child and them, parent to the father.
