Hi Michael, I'm not aware of a script that can stagger keyframes, but this one will shift keyframes in time: http://aescripts.com/rd-scooter/

Hi Paul,

Thank you for a truly useful script!

Is there a similar script that will shift or stagger selected keyframes instead of the layers in the timeline?

Hi Scott, you should be able to do what you're asking with AE's built in Animation > Keyframe Assistant > Sequence Layers feature.

Hi,

I just downloaded this for free to trial. It's great at what it does, thanks for writing it, but it doesn't quite do what I hoped (I don't think); I am looking for the ability to stagger my layers head-to-tail, with or without an offset.

ie, I want to be able to drag layers into the comp and then, with the layers selected, click a button to stagger them so that the next layer's head is placed exactly at the previous layers tail so that they all run in perfect sequence from start to finish. What would also be useful would be the ability to add an offset to this function (eg to be able to add a gap of 1 second between layers, or even a negative value for an overlap)

I would like to say thank you very much for what you're doing and the way you do it. I downloaded your script here for free, and think it's pretty cool that I can do that. I find it very respectable as it allows very poor persons like myself to try out some cool things anyway, and intend to make a donation in the near and more employed future. Very cool stuff you've got here. Much thanks.
