		<description>hi wade... do you mean grouping them together in the stacking order? maybe do a search for each footage name (which filters the layers to just those), select all, clear the search filter, then drag the selection up/down in the layer stack so that they are grouped together? would that work?</description>

		<description>Hello Jeff  thank you for all your scripts! My question : currently using AE 5.5 I have a comp 1 hour long with over 1500 edits  referencing 4 pieces of footage. All edits are named from the original 4 pieces of footage. I&#039;m trying to group my footage by name. For example I have 479 edits with the same name that are not consecutive. What&#039;s the best way to do this.
