I am trying to down convert the Action Essentials Collection by Video CoPilot and I am getting the same message. I have tried many things to correct but I don't want to screw up my software.

Hi Lloyd,

I have been using this script for quite a while now and as noted before, it rocks. Fantastic for generating storyboard frames out of AE.

Just recently it started behaving strangely - specifically the script works in creating the render queue but when I go to render AE give me a warning "The directory originally specified in the selected output module no longer exists."

I have tried re-setting the directory (from the Browse button in the script window), simplifying the file path, making sure there are no special character ... but I'm still getting this behavior.

I can re-direct the output module manually (to the originally specified directory) and it will then render fine.

Any idea why this might be occurring?

I am running AE 10.0.2.4 on Mac OS 10.6.8

Thanks!

Hi,

it would be great to output layered tiffs or psd. Is that possible?
The script or AE ( I donīt know) always adds lot of zeros to my rendered tiff files. They look like:

cucumbers_26_00000.tif (wheras “cucumbers” is the comment of the marker). Can I prevent adding the zeros?

Nevertheless: Your script is very useful for me, and is worth every penny!

thanx in advance

Unfortunately the scripting API does not provide access to comp markers. If you would like Adobe to add this functionality, please request it here: http://adobe.com/go/wish

Any chance of adding the option to use comp markers rather than having to use layer markers? I like to use comp markers so I can navigate to them quickly using the keypad...

Handy as always. Any chance you could add an option to add padding to the marker numbers in the render name, so that sequences could be imported back in, in order?

Can you try launching the script directly (ie: not from Launch Pad) to see if you still experience the same issue?

Hi Lloyd,

Excellent and useful script. However I'm having a problem and I don't see that anyone else has commented on it so I'm not sure if it's unique to me.

Regardless of what path I choose on using the "Browse" output folder button, the render queue always puts the output file on the Desktop.

Also, I'd love it if the output path would default to the previously used output path; not sure if this is the case if the above problem is not occurring.

I am running AE CS4, using Launch Pad to launch the script; my requested output path is not on my system/boot drive ... if any of these help you troubleshoot this.

Thanks for your help!
