Was hoping this script would also find and replace in the actual file name. Any chance for this addition in a future version?

Hello! Thanks for the script, but I'm having a bit of trouble. Using the script in CS4 with Light emmited particles - I have a 3D comp that I need "wrapped" by the lines particular leaves behind. In the comp I have a camera, my 3d layer, particular layer, then 4 lights used for emitters. The script creates the 00Particle and O1Particle layers, as well as the Max and Min controls but the values for max and min falloff are way off. I got the effect to work manually, without the script, but am curious if anyone has run into this before since it would be an amazing time saver.

Thanks!

Hey, I can't get this to run in CS5 with the particular 2.1.1. The error I keep getting is After Effects warning: Bad argument: couldn't find effect named 'Distance' Expression disabled.

Anyone run into this?

Cheers

This isn't working for me. It's duplicating the right amount of layers but stops setting up the expressions after the first one. It goes to "00_Particular" and then stops.

Just a little update for you guys. The script works perfectly in CS5. In the zip file, you will find CS3 and CS4 binaries.

Just use the CS4 version with CS5 and that's it.

I'm not sure to exactly understand, but I guess it will only break if some layers that are under the sparticular layer in the layer stack but due to the rotation are supposed to be "in front of" the sParticular layer in the view.
