That is because they have since been combined into one combined product. You get both when you purchase either one.

PAR Correction is no longer necessary in CS5 as the default now is what the script would change it too. If you look at the version history above you can see that it was removed in the latest version as it was causing conflicts in CS5.

UPDATE:

I just realized, when I go on http://aescripts.com/throttle-12/ and add the script to the cart,
I get the same product as if I add the script from http://aescripts.com/throttle-n-purge/

By the way:
I get no error message whatsoever.
It just isn't there.

I see:

PURGE
The three radio buttons for Colour Depth.
Multi processing OFF/ON Free: 2
Allow Idle Rendering

Thanks,
Dennis

I installed your script, works fine.
But neither "Throttle-n-Purge" nor "Throttle" show the tab for Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction.
Unfortunately, because I got this script for that reason.
Somehow though, the PARC looks a bit better now. Still has some edges, but very small one.
So the panel must have affected it.
Anyway it would be better if you could control it for a faster RAM preview.

I use a Mac Pro 8-Core with 16 GB Ram
After Effects 10.0.1.19 (from CS5)

Thanks,
Dennis

PAR quality might not be compatible with CS3 but if it is you need to restart AE for the new pref to take effect.

Hey Lloyd,
I just bought your great "Throttle n purge" script but for some reason I cant seem to change the PAR correction quality tab. I click and select "High"...but it doesn't change, it stays on "Low".

Can you help?

I'm using AE CS3 on an Apple G5 dual 2.7 running OSX 10.5.8

Many thanks,

This script is for managing your preferences, which can potentially speed up your rendering if set properly but it all depends on your setup. 8GB is not enough ram to successfully use Multi-Proc rendering in my testing.

Thanks for reporting this. I posted a new version which catches this condition. Basically you need hit the 'Toggle Pixel Aspect Correction' button at least once to generate the pref in the preferences file so that Throttle can then control it. The button is at the bottom of the Comp window, it is a rectangle with a double pointed arrow above it (see picture in posting above).

Hi Lloyd, I just upgraded to snow leopard and did a re-install of CS3.

Whenever I try to loadthrottle I get this error;

"Unable to execute script at line 130. After Effects error: the section name and key (Item Window Settings, Viewer Odd Zoom Quality (0=low, 1=high, 2=high except for RAM preview)) could not be found in the preferences."

any ideas?
It was working fine before on 10.5, and I LOVED it.

Just curious. I discovered your script after I started using CS4 (which, until yesterday couldn't run Nucleo). The MP button makes Nucleo shut off. Not sure if any other settings interfere with Spec Preview/Render.

@Navarro - It should be able to work concurrently with Nucleo. Are you seeing a conflict?
