First of all I must say, its an awesome Script!! But I´ve the same Problem like Alex, with the 3.0 Version of TrackerViz. When I start it, I got the Error: Invalid Image data. The Checkbox “Allow scripts to write files…” is enabled. I use Vista 64 Bit in Admin Mode. Is there a solution?

I’ve had some problem with this script.

I get the error message: “Error: Invalid image data”, and then the script won’t work as it should. I try to average some layers and it gives me the message: “Script error: Undefined”.

Any ideas?

In its current version TrackerViz embeds its icons in the code. When your first use it, the script creates the icon files in the Temp directory. This behavior may change in future releases.

Do you have the “Allow scripts to write files…” checkbox enabled in the AE preferences ?
If that is the case, then it’s most likely a system rights/permission issue.

If the above does not solve the problem, email me and I’ll send you a version with the icons as separate files.

Note that there are tool tips that shows up a short description of the 3 command buttons.

This sure looks like an awesome package of scripts, and I also liked the demo provided (although it could use some editing).
However, when I try to run TrackerViz (version 3, downloaded here), AE (9.0.2, CS4 on a MacPro 8-core) tells me “Error: Invalid image data”. I then get a floating window that’s not dockable and lacks the icons shown in the UI picture above. Is this a Mac issue? The script does seem to work.
