    Is it possible to customize the UI so that some of the items within the submenus (select only stroke color, only stroke width, etc) can have dedicated buttons in the panel UI, without having to open up the submenu every time? I use a bunch of the submenu items more than I do the default top-level icons, so this would be great to have.

    Trying this out ... the "strokes" button is not working at all ... which is what I need.
    It merely selects the properties of the first stroke in the layer.
    I want to select ALL parent stroke properties.
