If I move from CS6 license to Cloud

I have (and may continue to) resisted the cloud for 2 years, relying on CS6 Master Suite.

If I were to purchase the cloud I would have a completely different AE license (at least I think that's how it would work). I know I'd have to install and serialize all my AE Scripts (I have a bunch!), but my question is this: my license would be valid and would work, right?
