Since the 2.7 update I've been getting this error message in both AE 2021 and AE Beta:

After Effects: effect "dot pixels" has version mismatch. Code version is 2.7 and PiPL version is 2.6 (138601) (25 :: 16)

The plugin seems to be working correctly, but obviously there is something that isn't right.  Any ideas?

Hi Ben,

That's a benign error message due to a version conflict. It'll only occur once - the first time the plug-in is applied. No functionality is affected by it. We'll issue a fix soon to resolve it.

Hi. all of a sudden, when trying to render from AE, my Media Encoder gets stuck at "dotpixels64.plugin"  Any ideas? I'm now trying to just find the damn plugin and delete it, but i can't find it anywhere!

os 11.5.2

AME: 15.4.1 (Build 5)

AE: 18.2.1 (Build 8)
