I love the tool. It works like magic. The problem I'm having right now is that "offset animation time" is not showing up in the Font Controller. How can I solve that?

By the way your customer support is amazing!
Hi Luis,
Thank you for the feedback. Animography asked us to remove this feature since it was not that useful.
Hi. I have an animated font with multiple weights and special characters. Over 500 individual character animations. How do I create a jsxbin file for these animations? Many thanks

Hi Russel, this tools helps with converting animated typeface to JSX format:
Hi. I need to help on creating/postioning special characters: comer, apostrophe, quotation marks, semi colon
I am using a 1x1 composition (1000x1000).
All my normal letters and numbers are centred.
Where do I position non-centered special characters within the 1x1 comp?
ie. Do I create a comer and centre it?
Or do I create the comer and position it at the bottom of the comp?
Many thanks
Hi, when you create create typeface layers of full animated typeface template, all layers are positioned automatically.
Adding the additional comp with glyph at the correct place is only possible if you have stored the original text layer that you used to create a template. In this case:
1. Duplicate any glyph's comp
2. Paste the origianl text layer there
3. Then change text to custom glyph/character you want to use
4. Rename comp name to match the glyph
5. Convert text layer to shape layer
6. Adjust "Grid" effect on the Metrics layer to match the glyph
I've already created an animated font with each letter/character being a pre-comp image sequence. Can I still use this font with Font Manager even though it's not a solid or mask?

Hi Brendan, yes, you can do that.
If you can share a few characters of the your typeface and font name I can record a video on how to add kerning and mertics to such structure. Please open a support ticket on this matter.
I do not have the Font Manager Library folder in my Script Ui folder. I have created a series of JSX's for my animated font library but can't house them anywhere. I'm using a M1 MacBook Pro.

Hi, go to the last tab of Font Manager, then click "Install Animated Typeface" button and choose the JSX file.
I'm having ongoing issues trying to convert my animated library into JSX files.
I have a font with multiple weights and timings - over 500 in total.
In order to make the project manageable I need to convert the animated characters into JSX files.
You guys informed me I would need to buy compCode to convert the into JSX files.
I have bought compCode however there is almost zero guidance on how to convert them into JSX files. (TypePack is a foot note on the installation guide and not covered in any of the video tutorials). There are a couple of sentences explaining how to convert them however these instructions are not working.
I have contacted compCode to ask for help but they have not replied.
Are you able to offer any guidance?
I appreciate that you are not the developers however you informed me I would need to buy the script from compCode and also on compCodes page they advise users to buy your plugin - so you have the relationship.

Hi Russell, you are right, we haven't covered that in any video and will record it next week.
Over all, the process is simple:
1. You select folders with glyphs comps and under compCode click "compCode" button. It will export comps as JSX files.
2. Then with "typePack" button you choose export the main JSX files aka manifest file that includes all data inside the same folder with your previously exported JSX files.

Hi.
Thanks for your reply.
I am able to successfully install the JSX fonts however when trying to create sentences though FontManager with JSX's I either get an Error message or it only generates a new comp with the first letter of the sentence required. Followed by an error message.
A video with step by step would be great.
I need to get this resolved quickly as this process has already been a huge drain on my time.

You just save AEP file from After Effects and re-import it next time you need to use it
Yes, why not? You can customize the characters set and use add custom glyphs there
