AE or PR plugin to auto edit multiple videos to audio beat?

    So i'm not sure how to explain this fully.

    Id like to find a method / plugin / script, that i can play audio through a find the audio beat as a marker.

    Id then like to allocate those markers to show appropriately chosen comps.

    The goal is a long abstract video that i'd like to not have to cut and marker in the usual time consuming way. 
    I know it can be done but i can't find the tut i once saw years ago.

    something free is preferable :) (said everyone all together)
