    Halo guys, I have issue on using the trial version under mac adobe 2017 platform. I followed the installation guide to install datamosh successfully. And there is only black screen once i open up the datamosh window. Could u give me some help?

    I'd like to handle with it but i still don't understand how it works.

    I'm sorry about that but I didn't quite understand the principle of the interface functions.

    I looked at your first tutorial but it's not clear enough to me.

    This is a common issue that we've heard from multiple users. We are releasing an update very soon that will fix this. So sorry for the inconvenience!

    Installed the demo and am having some issues. Most moshes hang on the "importing" screen and require a force close of AE. Occasionally the clip re-imports but is completely white. Advice?

    Edit: Windows 10, AE CC 2018 (v.15.1.2)

    recently purchased this plug in. Seemed like a great solution.
    But then eveytime I render a "Datamoshed" video, and insert into my time line in Premiere the next time I render a sequence the previous one is rewritten.
    Even if they had different sources.

    This is extremly frustration and a huge waste of time. Can you please clearly explain how to NOT over ride previsous renders.

    Also, the plug in seems to inflate my drive with data. I have 40 gigs available and soon it is filled with "insivible" data everytime I render videos. 
    What is taking so much space? I clear my temp files and nothing changes.

    I'm considering buying this plugin, but I have a problem with the Try version and I'm worried that it will happen later as well. It works fine only in first time rendering the output very quickly, but in the second time it crashes my AE. I always need to restart my mac to work it correctly again. Is there any way to fix it?

    A coworker bought a seat for this at my office. It didn't work on cc2017 or cc2019– it was crashing during "render" or just bringing in solid white clips. But on cc2018 it worked beautifully. In the past, I've done data-moshing with other tools and it was always a real pain– This makes it way easier. Hopefully we can get an update for 2019 soon. Thx!

    Works great thank you!!! I was about to give up on datamoshing because avidemux kept crashing on P-frame duplication, and then I found this.

    I'm also having problems with temp data filling up my drive.  I have to keep restarting my computer after on session, empty the trash and wait 10 minutes for the space to come back, would love to be able to specify a temp folder of an external drive.

    Issues, issues, issues.... the short story of this plugin how look amazing in first view... always crash. Freeze my AE (I got a legal AE and a good mac conf,...), or sometime, when It's goes far from render.... just add me a white layer on my timeline and white video on my desktop. 

    So sad.

    Lovin this plugin! Quick question. Is there a way to have Datamosh create the clip in a format other than MP4? Working on a feature film and I need my clip to retain the full color space of the source footage. The footage was shot on Red Dragon. It would be great if it could export to 4444 QT prores , DPX or EXR sequences. Is this possible?

    Hey Tim,

    At the moment we are sorry to say that Mp4 is the highest quality that we support. The way that we break the compression to mosh clips is most easily done using mp4s.. We will look to support this more in future versions!

    For anyone having an issue with datamosh taking up loads of had drive space....which is everyone...for some reason datamosh saves temp files in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp  folder...
