MonkeySauce automates the tedious process of triggering sound effects. With just one click, you can sync audio to markers, sequence multiple sound effects, and fine-tune timing with intuitive controls. Whether you're working with animations, motion graphics, video or text reveals, MonkeySauce streamlines your workflow with a choice of 24 tasty recipies for automatically cueing audio files. FEATURES:

Modes:

  • Single: Places each selected audio file in its own precomp, keeping the timeline organized.
  • Sequence: Combines selected SFX into one precomp, triggering them in order or randomly if Mix Order is active.
  • Expanded: Similar to Sequence but keeps each SFX in its own precomp to prevent interruptions.
  • Squeeze: Speeds up audio to fit before the next marker is triggered.
  • Mix Order: Randomizes the order of selected audio files; otherwise, files trigger in project window order.

Triggers:

  • Manual: Places a single marker at the CTI for each layer.
  • Repeat & Random: Adds markers at intervals based on Max/Min time settings.
  • Layer Start / Middle / End: Triggers audio based on selected layer's start, middle, or end.
  • Marker Sync: Syncs markers to existing markers on a selected layer.
  • Random Sync: Similar to Marker Sync, but applies randomly to about half of the reference layer’s markers.
