- GIF Hover Playback: Toggle "Play GIF on hover only" in Settings to display static PNG thumbnails at rest and play the animated GIF only on hover — a calmer panel when many cards are visible at once. Static frames are auto-generated alongside new GIFs; use "Regenerate Static Thumbnails" in Settings for existing assets (skips ones that already have a static frame).
- CompToAsset: Composition picker now has a search box — finding the right comp is instant even in projects with many compositions.
Fixes:
- Update checker now reads the current version dynamically from manifest.xml. Fixes a stale "update available" banner that could persist even after installing the latest version.
- One-shot migration automatically clears dismissed-update entries written by the older buggy checker so existing users get a clean state.
- FFmpeg resolution improved on macOS (Homebrew paths and /usr/local/bin now checked).
UI:
- Settings panel now displays the installed version at the bottom.
- Tooltip added to "Regenerate Static Thumbnails" explaining its behavior.

Place Mode — Control where motion layers are inserted: Above, Below, or Off. Works with batch apply (Above stacks layers upward; Below places them sequentially downward)
Scale ½ button — Instantly scale selected layers to 50%
Rotate +45° button — Instantly rotate selected layers by +45°
Fill button (AutoColor integration) — When AutoColor is ON, applies a Tint effect using the current color automatically; when OFF, opens the OS color picker to choose a tint color
Context menu: Show in Explorer / Reveal in Finder — Open the asset's folder location directly from the panel

License Grant
This Agreement entitles you to install and use one copy of the Software Product. In addition, you may make one archival copy of the Software Product. The archival copy must be on a storage medium other than a hard drive, and may only be used for the reinstallation of the Software Product. This Agreement does not permit the installation or use of multiple copies of the Software Product, or the installation of the Software Product on more than one computer at any given time, on a system that allows shared used of applications, on a multi-user network, or on any configuration or system of computers that allows multiple users. Limitation of Remedies and Damages

Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Costs
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New York, without regard to New York's conflict or choice of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. To the extent any express or implied restrictions are not permitted by applicable laws, these express or implied restrictions shall remain in force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by such applicable laws.
