Naked-Eye 3D
Create camera-matched anamorphic / naked-eye 3D billboard scenes and prepare flat LED output from corner or segmented screen surfaces.
Naked-Eye 3D is a dockable After Effects panel for anamorphic / naked-eye 3D billboard workflows. Match an AE camera from perspective guide lines, mark flat, corner, or segmented LED screens, and unwrap them into one clean render-ready output composition.
Key Features
- Camera Match from red, green, and blue perspective guide lines
- One-Node After Effects camera generation
- Designed for naked-eye 3D billboard and anamorphic LED workflows
- Section Chain Unwrap for flat, corner, and segmented screens
- Connected screen sections with shared edges and no gaps
- Custom width per section with one common output height
- Automatic individual section unwrap compositions
- Combined flat LED output composition
- Quick Rebuild after adjusting screen corner points
- Dockable ScriptUI panel for After Effects
Two Workflows in One Tool
Two Workflows in One Tool
The script is split into two independent modules: Camera Match for building a camera-matched 3D scene, and Section Chain Unwrap for preparing the final flat LED output. You can use either workflow separately, or combine both in one production pipeline.
Camera Match / Scene Setup
Create perspective guide lines directly in your composition, align them to the architecture in the reference image, and generate a matched After Effects camera. This helps you place 3D text, objects, screens, and animations into the same perspective as the original photo or plate.
- Create red, green, and blue perspective guides
- Duplicate guides for more stable vanishing point calculation
- Generate or update the AE camera from the guides
- Use the matched camera to build 3D elements in the correct perspective
- Works as a dockable ScriptUI panel inside After Effects
Section Chain Unwrap
Mark your physical LED screen as a left-to-right chain of connected quad sections. The first section creates four corner points, and every next section reuses the previous right edge. This keeps adjacent sections perfectly connected and prevents gaps between screen parts.
- Add as many connected screen sections as needed
- Use one section for a flat screen, two sections for a corner screen, or many sections for a curved / segmented display
- Each section can have its own output width
- All sections share one common output height
- Build individual unwrap comps and one combined flat LED output
- Use Quick Rebuild to update the output after adjusting screen corners
From Corner Screen to Flat Output
After marking the screen sections, the script unwraps each section and automatically combines them into a single flat render-ready LED canvas.

Use Cases
- Naked-eye 3D billboard previews
- Anamorphic 3D LED screen workflows
- Corner LED screens
- Flat LED screen unwrap
- Curved or segmented LED screen preparation
- Camera-matched After Effects scenes
- Projection-style screen layout planning
- Render-ready LED output composition
Requirements
- Adobe After Effects 2024 or newer recommended
- Works as a dockable ScriptUI panel
- Uses built-in After Effects layers, compositions, expressions, and effects
- No external services or AI processing required
- Internet access is only used by the aescripts licensing framework
Important Notes
This tool does not automatically convert any normal video into a perfect naked-eye 3D illusion. It provides a production workflow for camera matching, marking LED screen areas, and generating flat render-ready outputs from those marked sections.
For best results, use clear reference images with visible architectural perspective lines and accurately mark the screen corners or section boundaries.
Trial Version
The trial version allows you to test the workflow before purchasing. Trial limitations may include limited unwrap sections and a trial watermark on generated output.
