Introducing Rapid Slideshow & Presentation Maker, an expression-driven After Effects script that turns folders of images into cinematic slideshows and reels—fast. Expression-driven animation keeps timelines clean while you add pans, zooms, pushes, borders, grids, audio fades, and 3D camera shots—without heavy keyframing.

RSPM is designed for creators who want clean timelines, one-click workflows, and flexible tools that stay out of the way. Build social media reels, slideshows, presentations, and camera-based motion pieces with minimal manual setup.

Key Features:

• One-button dockable launcher that opens the full floating RSPM window.

• Minimize / Maximize UI system to keep your workspace clean.

• Fit to Width / Fit to Height, reset transforms, flip (H/V), and 90° rotations.

• Pan, Zoom, and Push movement with In / Out / Both timing logic and reset.

• Grid Maker, Smart Grid Shuffle, and Bento layouts for flexible image grids.

• Stylish Borders via Layer Styles with a master Border Control null and local fallback.

• Blurry BG with Transform, Fast Box Blur, and CC Composite in a single setup.

• Audio Distribute with random crop from the middle, fade in/out, and crossfade between clips.

• 3D Camera Setup with shots, padding, stagger, shuffle, refocus, animate, and reset.

• Swing / Flash controller and Keyframe Overshoot (KFO) for expressive motion.

• KBar support is available for some selective features.

Fit to Comp & Transforms

Instant Fit to Width / Fit to Height, reset transforms, flip (H/V), and rotate 90° left/right—your quick setup before adding motion. The reset button restores position, scale, and rotation when you want to start over.

This is ideal for preparing all incoming images in a consistent way before animating them with Pan, Zoom, Push or 3D camera moves.

Sequence Layers

Sequence Layers

We brought back our famous handy Sequence Layers feature from our previous tool "Rapid Reel Composer".

But this time it's more powerful, with some extra features. We added Stagger Layers feature, Layer Selection Order feature.

To sequence or stagger the layers one after another, click the 'Sequence' button. Make sure to select the layers from the bottom to the top, as this is the standard editing order in After Effects.

Pan / Zoom / Push (In, Out, Both)

Cinematic movement without clutter. Expression-driven motion with In / Out / Both logic lets you decide where the movement starts and ends. Use Pan, Zoom, or Push to bring energy to static images without hand-animating keyframes.

A dedicated reset option clears the expressions and brings the layer back to its original state so you can quickly try a different approach.

Pan / Zoom / Push UI
Grid & Bento UI

Grid Maker, Smart Shuffle & Bento Layouts

Create smart grids with unique Grid Control 1, 2, 3… nulls and correct matte ordering. Smart Grid respects selection order and keeps the background and mattes structured properly.

Bento mode lets you create editorial-style collages and layouts for more dynamic slideshow compositions.

Stylish Borders & Blurry Background

Square, Faded, and Custom borders are applied via Layer Styles, all driven by a master Border Control null. If the null isn’t present, each layer safely falls back to its own local controls.

Blurry BG builds a clean background using Transform, Fast Box Blur, and CC Composite—ready-made for photo edges and social media-safe framing.

Borders & Blurry BG
Audio Distribute & Crossfade

Audio Distribute, Fade & Crossfade

Auto-crop audio from the middle, stagger clips over a chosen time range, and create smooth crossfades between them. RSPM can fade in and fade out audio, and distribute multiple audio files within a composition’s in-point and out-point.

Build consistent background beds for your slideshow in just a few clicks—no more manual trimming and overlapping every audio layer.

3D Camera Shots—Fast & Editable

Create camera shots using “Look at Selected Layers” with padding/zoom controls, staggering, shuffle, refocus, animate, and reset. RSPM uses one null and one camera per shot with hold keyframes, so everything stays organized and easy to tweak.

Padding (zoom) sliders override random or manual position values, ensuring consistent framing across all shots while still giving you creative flexibility.

3D Camera Setup
Swing / Flash / KFO

Swing / Flash & Keyframe Overshoot (KFO)

Use a controller-based Swing system that adds position and rotation swing with distance, time, cycle, and oscillation sliders. Motion Tile keeps edges clean, so your swinging layers don’t reveal empty gaps.

A Tint-based Flash effect is controlled by a checkbox (“Flash On”) and a slider for duration in frames. The dedicated KFO module adds overshoot and decay directly to Position, Scale, and Rotation keyframes you select.

BN: Set Comp Work Area

You can simply click the 'BN' button to set the work area instead of pressing shortcut B and N.

Select all layers to set the start and end point of the work area. Press BN will set the start and end point in those layers.

If you don't select any layer and press BN, it will set the start and end point to the current composition duration.

KBar Support

We prepared a package for KBar that you will be able to use it in KBar After Effects script.

Simply load your desired block of the Rapid Slideshow & Presentation Maker script in your KBar as a script in a button.

Some of the blocks may open on it’s own UI window to make it easy for user to utilize the function properly with sliders and other values.

You MUST need to buy and install Rapid Slideshow & Presentation Maker beforehand to use it in your KBar.

Workflow:

Rapid Slideshow & Presentation Maker is built around expression-driven workflows and a clean UI. A typical workflow might look like this:

  1. Open the dockable launcher and click to open the full RSPM window.
  2. Import images, use Fit to Comp, and arrange them with Grid or Bento layouts.
  3. Add movement with Pan, Zoom, or Push using In/Out/Both. Optionally add Fade & Wiggle.
  4. Style your layout with Borders or Blurry BG, and generate a Thumbnail if needed.
  5. Distribute audio, apply fades and crossfades, and sequence/stagger timing.
  6. Create 3D Camera shots, then Shuffle or Refocus and tweak Padding to refine framing.
  7. Finish with Swing/Flash or Keyframe Overshoot on specific moments to add polish.

Because most of the animation is expression-based, your timeline stays clean and easy to revise at any stage of the project.

Docs & Support

Quick-start docs, feature breakdowns, and example projects are available to help you get going. Video tutorials walk through the main tabs and tools step by step.

FAQ:

Does RSPM add lots of keyframes?
No. RSPM minimizes keyframes and relies heavily on expressions. This keeps your compositions cleaner and easier to edit or revise later.

Can I still manually keyframe?
Yes. The expression-driven approach is non-destructive. You can add your own keyframes on top, or bake things down later if you prefer.

Does it support grids and advanced layouts?
Yes. Grid Maker, Smart Grid Shuffle, and Bento Grid give you structured and editorial-style layouts, with proper mattes, ordering, and a dedicated “Grid Control” null.

What about 3D camera moves?
RSPM can create 3D shots that look at selected layers, with padding/zoom, stagger, shuffle, refocus, animate, and reset. One null and one camera keep the rig simple and editable.

Is there a simple launcher and Min/Max UI?
Yes. A tiny dockable launcher opens the full floating window, and the Min/Max system lets you collapse or expand the UI depending on how much space you have.

Does it work with KBar?
Yes. You can map frequent actions from RSPM to KBar buttons to speed up your workflow even more.
