aescripts + aeplugins hangs at "Logging in..."

    Just downloaded today (8/10/16) version 0.9.77 for Mac.  I'm using the latest After Effects CC 2015.3, (as well as some older versions).  My OS X is 10.11.6. The Mac itself is Mid 2012.  

    I'm bummed because aescripts + aeplugins just hangs after I put my user name and password.  It says "Loggin in..." but nothing appears.  I can click on "Logging in.." and the dialogue will pop up, so I guess the software itself isn't stuck, it's just not reading what I have installed or purchased.
    Clicking on "All Products" or "Updates" or "Installed" has no result.  Thoughts?  Thanks!
