Selecting objects behind other object automatically (Selection Tool)

    Is there a script/tool that helps you to select an object thats behind another object without having to physically move it out of the way or having to click on the layer in the comp list.

    For example, (see attached picture), even though i can see the blue circle behind the red star I can't select it automatically with the "Selection Tool" as the star object blocks me from doing that. If that makes sense?

    Any help would be much appreciated!
