Tips or Plugins to more quickly animate shape layer content groups

    My problem is that I often work with Illustrator or EPS files (sent by clients to animate) and when I convert them to Shapes from a vector layer, I end up with LOADS of content groups, which is a HUGE pain to animate individually.
    Is there a way to easily separate these content groups into individual layers, or some plugin that makes managing and individually animated them easier?
