Concept Buddy is a new design workflow that helps you achieve your vision by interacting with AI. Important: It is only available for Windows currently. A macOS version is planned in the future.
Been using AI for moodboards and ideas which has helped my workflow. For me, this is where AI can shine - good work. I have to wait for the Mac version and look forward to testing it out.
I downloaded and installed the "TRY" version, then opened the "ConceptBuddy.aep" sample project. I can view the Work composition (the simple vector shapes of the donut), but the "Render" composition just shows a black box with a bright red X. This is usually what's displayed when a Trial ends, or a plugin has yet to be registered. I fully expect a watermark, as I've yet to purchase. But it's just black with a red X,
Does your trial version not work? Or am I missing something?
I can't really assess the usefulness of the program unless I can see the results.
Every time I try to install the program It starts installing and then I get an error message saying, "An error occured while trying to copy a file, Not enough Memory" No programs are running

Hi !
You are correct, the trial should produce the image, only with a red X on top of it. Make sure to download the latest v1.0.2 as we fixed a bug causing black frames to be rendered on some machines

My computer
Memory: 64 gb
GPU 4090
CPU 5900x
SSD drives
Me either, it's not working on my computer
"Not enough memory on device" "Total Global Memory: 0.00GIB. Minumum 3.50GIB"
Installing the trial version of concept buddy broke my installation of Mask Prompter plugin it works only the last one installed (and break the other).
Update: they both work if the other one is not present in the same AE project you are working on. You can't use them together

Yes, this is a known issue, all Blace plugins can't be used during the same AE session as any BSKL plugin. We've tried a lot of things to fix it but unfortunately haven't found a solution yet, sorry about that!

Any news on the apple silicon release? Thank you.
The Mac release is still a ways off, but Diffusae 2 will be out in a few weeks, which features significantly faster models that will make it suitable for similar workflows (and works on Mac). You can download a beta version on our Discord

I am really looking forward to the release of this new version.
I have purchased Concept buddy and its working pretty well. Would you be able to please elaborate on the use case for switching over to the XL model? the results seem to simply recreate what I have done in the work comp, meaning that the sample doughnut isn't generated is does a weird grainer version of the shape layers in the work comp, almost as if the strength of the generation is almost zero and just duplicates what is seen in the work composition...

Hope what I am trying to explain makes sense
Hey! The XL model has higher quality output generally but in some cases, as you seem to have found, the base model might actually look better. Hope that helps! If you have any more questions please reach out on our Discord or on aescripts.
Thank you.
Thanks
