    even if i remove the stroke from the shape layer and save it in slot, it still gives me the stroke when i click to create a new square peg from slots.

    Hi Abdullah, the preset options currently only store the parameters of the Square Peg effect. However you can use After Effects' animation preset functionality to store presets that contain, stroke, fill, styles and FX along side Square Peg.
