Yes, it does support transparency.

This doesn't seem to work if your project is set to 16 or 32 bit.  I am getting some odd color banding and the layer you want to have the color adjustment seems to be nearly transparent.  At 8bit, it seems to work ok.

In your demo video when you add the beach wreckage, the video
seems to suggest it also does motion tracking. Does this plugin do that as well automatically?

I have just purchased this plugin and again, as with Goodbye Greenscreen, Depth Scanner and Mask Prompter it crashed After Effects 2024 working on a 32 bit project. From the publicity this plugin appears an AI update of After Effects Color Link FX. Is this so? 

Is it too much to ask product developers selling wares on this site to simultaneously release their product not just with alluring publicity, but comprehensive video and written instruction?

Installed the demo just now and it started crashing my project over and over again. I'm on an 8 bit project btw. I will say this, it works beautifully (when it works). I did manage to get it to work without crashing after trimming the adjustment layer. My verdict is that this is definitely a badass buggy plugin.

So what I've found in my 8 bit project is that after enabling Easy Comp on the Adjustment Layer, if i scroll the timeline when its not rendered, it will crash. However, if I press space to play and render, or just wait for the timeline to cache and render, it will play with no crashes. However, If i change anything in the scene, and then scroll the timeline again before it's rendered, Easy Comp will crash. 

My comp is pretty comlex so the workflow I've found to be best is:

1. Turn easy comp off when making adjustments to the scene
2. When done editing, turn easy comp layer on
3. Wait for the timeline to render before doing anything else

as we could not reproduce this behaviour yet, please open a bug ticket (https://aescripts.com/contact/) and send us the project that is causing problems for you as well as the log files: https://docs.blaceplugins.com/troubleshooting.html#send-us-a-log

Based on that we will be able to help you.

You could also try to disable Hardware Acceleration. It might be a bit slower, but maybe it won't crash (this highly depends on your hardware).

Hey Blace, I've noticed a small glitch in several projects now. I seem to have a 1px border where Easy Comp does not cover to the edge and the background layer is revealed. I happen to be editing in vertical 1080x1920.

Installed this plugin today and mask prompter v2 also but mask prompter crashes on my ae 2024 i disabled it after that when i tested the easycomp plugin boom it crashed again after that i tried multiple times and then i unchecked the hardware acceleration it started working properly but there is no option for mask prompter v2 to turn off hardware acceleration so i just uninstalled the maskprompter and then i founded a new problem with easycomp it stopped crashing but there is two yellow lines showing its also showing up in my render i tried everything but i can't turn it off tell me a way to turn it and secondly i have a request for blace plugins if you develop a plugin please don't only make tutorials on how to use it make some tutorials for the problems too thank god i didn't Paid you guys you only develop shit your mask prompter is shit and you easy comp is good but its giving yellow guidelines i don't know how to turn it of tell me a way to turn it of otherwise these plugins are waste of time and a proper dog shit teach your developers how to use ai for developing plugins i am so upset i wasted my whole day bad experience with you guys

we have a custom written installer and for unknown reasons they sometimes get flagged. There is not to much we can do about it except for pointing out that the two detections are the exceptions among all the security vendors.

Is there a way to lock to a specific color correction? I have a green screen element that I am compositing that moves across the BG but since it is moving the color is shifting in the FG.

I now have noticed that your demo shots are static. How do I account for this? If this does not work with moving footage I do not understand why this is an AE plugin and not just for photoshop. Most of our shots will be tracked footage.

I was considering this plugin. But now I'd like to hold off until there is a good response to Action Turtle's question. 

The plugin does work with moving shots. We just released a few more demos here:

I understand the requirement of your specific shot, so what you could do:

1) Do the easy-comp stuff in a precomp (as shown here: ), where you strongly blur the background. This will make the result more stable.

2) Move the background layer together with the foreground element.

When applied, the foreground layer goes transparent. I can just see a slight color difference of the Background layer inside of the FG matte.
