Bring your photos to life! A powerful 3D portrait and photo animation tool that is incredibly easy to use, fast and powered by AI. It turns photos into real 3D models that can be fully animated!
Thanks Taron for this outstanding tool. I'm your fan having almost all of your tools but Face 3D just blew my mind. It is so easy to use and it makes excellent 3d effect not only on faces but any objects )).
I have some issue though when I select both depth map and image and press Make 3D, the window shows up "AdobeCrashReport quit unexpectedly". I hit Ignore button. After that it either generates normal obj model which I can work further as in your tutorial. But in most cases it provides distorted model which looks more like depth map. I'm using latest version of AE and Mac M2 Pro Sonoma. I guess I should open a ticket, right?
AI can create depth maps for any image. I think if you get a correct depth map from a drawed image with the help of AI, there will be no problem with Face 3D. It doesn't matter how the image is made, shoot or drawn. But you can use the Face 3D trial version to make sure.
First select the main photo, then the depth map layer, then click
"Make 3D".
If you have any more questions, please open a support ticket.
Cheers,
Taron
Nope, it's not working. I opened a ticket and provided screen recording. With some photos it works, with some not. But when it works - it looks super great! ))
I think I found issue. Images with .JPG extension don't work properly with the plugin.
This is not an error message, it is a warning about an incorrect action. Before you click "Make 3D", make sure you have two layers selected. The first layer is the photo and the second layer should be the depth map layer. Please open a support ticket for further assistance.
Hello, I'm experiencing an error with Face 3D plugin (v1.0.2) in After Effects 2024
System Configuration:
- Windows 11
- Adobe After Effects 2024
- Blender 4.2.2
- Face 3D Plugin 1.0.2
Issue Description:
When I try to import the 3D file after clicking the "Make 3D" button, I receive the following error:
"Error at line 641: Error. After Effects error: Cannot call "add" with 1 parameter. Wrong format of undefined."
Additional Information:
- The OBJ file is generated successfully
- The OBJ file displays correctly in the 3D viewer when opened separately
- The OBJ file imports and displays correctly in Blender
- The error only occurs when trying to import into After Effects
- All file paths contain only English characters, no special characters
- All software is running the latest versions
- The process follows the official tutorial exactly
Could you please help me identify the cause of this error and suggest a solution?
I followed your advice and reinstalled After Effects, as well as updated my graphics card (NVIDIA Studio driver), but I’m still encountering the same issue. I’m currently using a GeForce RTX 2070, which I understand should support advanced 3D rendering. Is there anything else I should check?
I apologize for frequently reaching out regarding the same issue. I have installed another version of Blender (the older version) and attempted to connect it, but I'm still encountering the same error, preventing me from proceeding.
Additionally, I have one more question: I am currently trying out the trial version, not the purchased product. I’ve been informed that there should be a small green indicator in the top right corner of the Blender icon to confirm that it is connected properly. However, since I'm using the trial version, I can't see this indicator due to the blue window showing "trial version" in the attached image. Is this blue window only hidden when using the paid version? Also, could the error I’m experiencing (Error at line 641) be occurring because Blender is not connected properly?
I would appreciate your response on this matter. Thank you!
So it's obvious that this plug in has a big buggy issue, specifically with Blender linking. "Error at line 480". Whatever the team is doing to solve and improve this I am looking forward to be able to use this plug in that I paid for. I actually recommend this to a friend and now I had to tell him to halt due to this issue.
It doesn't work with After Effects v24.6.2.002 in French, is it due to the version of Face 3D v1.0.2 DEMO or just because After Effects is in French? On the other hand, does it work with After Effects v24.6.2.002 in English?
Cheers,
Taron
