We are proud to support all languages! The Captioneer extension does not transcribe audio; it imports any caption file.
    • It creates animated .mogrts on the timeline from SRT, VTT, or CSV caption files. Your captions file can contain any language (English, Hebrew, Chinese, etc).
    • You can edit the .mogrts to your preferred design. Captioneer includes batch-edit tools to streamline this.
    • For power users, you can export & use your own .mogrts from After Effects. Captioneer is the only tool that allows you to use any .mogrt.
You can transcribe Hebrew and export SRT subtitles with many online services. My favorite free service is Capsule.video. I tested with Hebrew to auto-transcribe, export to SRT, and create .mogrts with Captioneer.

You can edit the default .mogrts or build your own if you require specific right-to-left animations.

Thanks for notifying. The extension works on the latest Premiere Pro 25.1.0 Beta for Mac, but appears to have an opening issue on Windows. We'll get that patched.
  • It turns out that the problem was that I was loading my project files too quickly: You have to wait until the welcome screen has fully loaded and only then will everything work.

I assume that if you load a project file too quickly (i.e. before the welcome screen appears), you interrupt some background process that is crucial so that every extension works. By the way, not only did Captioneer break for me, but every other extension too.

Turns out that everything was working after all and that this is something that Adobe has yet to fix. Thank you!
  • dume pobu Glad to hear it is fixed! We identified a separate issue in the latest Beta, which affects other extensions. We are already working on a patch for our product. Thank you for calling this issue to attention.
  • You are right, It happened to me also, but after some time, everything is good.

That opening issue should be patched in the next update. For now, if the panel does not open for you, there is an easy fix. Enable debugging in the aescripts + aeplugins manager app or ZXP Installer. Whichever app you used to install Captioneer, go to Settings > Enable debugging and then reopen the extension.

  • Hello, I cannot Preview MOGRTs inside of Premiere, despite having the folder with all the files linked.

Am I doing anything wrong here?

  • Nathan Dunahoo For technical issues like this, open a support ticket. You will get 1-on-1 help there to resolve.

  • Ah, I thought I might've just been pressing the wrong button. Thanks!

Edit: Ya I just hadn't added the folder properly. This was the solution, if anyone else has this issue.
