BG Render not luanching multiple instances? CPU usage still low
  • So I watched the tutorial and was sold on the Script.
    I am using CS4, I have an i7 Quad core 3.5GHz and 2x 8GB RAM of mem.

    I am trying to render out an AE composition that is 40 seconds long. I plan to take this into Premier Pro and paste it together with related AE projects.

    The Composition in question is using a pre-rendered proxy of a Pixel Polley affect, so I don't know if pre-rendered compositions cause kinks.
    My compositions are at 8bpc.

    Now using AE CS4 render, my CPU floats at 13% usage and rendering gets really slow at 7sec mark where the Pixel Polley affect starts.

    I followed the instructions of the BG tutorial and CPU usage is still at 13% and still starts dropping  to 2% at the Pixel Polley area.

    I try initiating more BG Renders like in the video but I get "You must have at least one render item queued in order to render" message and I never see any more prompts opening.

    Also, am I limited to only PSD sequences for "Output to"?
