isotype question

i am using isotype and characteristic with AE CS6. i set it up to stagger the text appearing, which works fine. but the first part of the word that is appearing starts to shrink back to a cube before the whole word is formed. how can i set this up so that the letters stay what they are longer before shrinking back to cubes? thanks.

In the isotype "Controller" comp you can keyframe the "Completion" slider which controls how when and how quickly the letters from and shrink back into the cube.
