iexpressions crashing in cs6

    I was trying out a simple throw 2d on the position property of a png file in after effects cs5. It worked perfectly. Then I changed the values of Elastic Bounce % from default 50 to 70 and clicked apply after ofcourse making sure that the property of the required layer is highlighted. But it crashed. It kept crashing always the second time i tried to make any changes. 

    So I deleted CS5 and installed a fresh copy of Cs6. But in Cs6, It crashes at the very first step when I click apply.
