Magnum - The Edit Detector
  • Recently upgraded to v.3.0.2 and my old problem still persists.

I usually import a 750 frame DPX sequence from colour grading into AE.

I then need to split the clip into trimmed precomps labeled shot_01, shot_02, etc.

However if my DPX files' names contain ANY kind of digit, the naming gets screwed up.

    Todays example:
    sequence name = Trivago 30 ver2 A_03-04-2016_kolor_{090001-090675}.dpx
clip names after Magnum = shot_30, shot_31, etc.

Until now I have been renaming my sequences but its kind of painful not to be able to rename, say graded_30s_v01.dpx to graded_thirty_vOne.dpx

    Any ideas?

    Thx,
    K.

Please use the [num##] special keyword instead of [clip##]. Check the built in help for details.
  • Done that. Selected:

    Result: Trimmed Pre-Comps.
    Name: shot_[num=00]

and got shot_29, shot_30, etc in return.

Tried adding [num=0,inc=1] and still got shot_29, shot_30, etc.
