ReverseMaskPath doesn't work?

    So i'm animating a 'hand drawn' illustration which required me to reverse the sequence of a mask path.
    This was the first google hit and required a signup, and a whole lot of information to be submitted and even an optional payment.
    So I decided to test the script before actually spending dollar$ on it.

    It doesn't work.

    I've tried selecting a mask path, selecting anchor points, selecting the entire layer. None seem to work, nothing happens.
    I'm using CC 2014 updated version.
    What am I missing?
