EFX Keying Alpha Plugin

This pluging does not work with CS5.5 and Windows 8.1
The fee EFX plugins worked until upgrading to windows 8.1. It now crashes After Effects with message " Can't find the lanaguage key in system regristry".
Any idea on a soloution to this issue?

Resolved - Windows 8.1 replaced the ATI Graphics Card driver with its own version. Once the manufactures version was restored, everything started working again.
