Script for colleting data from a website and automatically inserting it in an After effects comp.

    I make weatheranimations with After effects everyday and it costs me 20 minutes per day.
    Now I'm searching for a way to automate this process.

    After some research I found out it is possible to collect data from a weatherwebsite,
    because it is ordered in div, ul, li classes and id's.

    So my question: What script do I need and how do I write one to collect the websitesdata and
    insert it in the layers of the After effects composition?

    If the website has an api you can connect it to Google Sheets and then use Templater Bot to automate it in After Effects. If it does not have an api then you will need to make some sort of data scraper yourself that collect the weather data into a json file and then you can use either Templater Bot or Open Sesame Server to automate the renders in AE.
