Hi, can you make camer mapping feature to mapping geometry create from depth map input please ? like this (1) NUKE 301 - Relighting with AI Depth Map - YouTube Because with AI depth scanner plugin, I can generate any videos to depthmap and relight it, but there is not tool for AE can create camera mapping to that mesh. Freeform pro and Mir can create mesh from displacement map ( using depthmap ), but it does not have camera mapping to map that geometry properly. Please consider my requestion. Thanks so much.

Downloaded the Try version and was not able to extract from compressed folder. Can you please verify the files? An error states "Can not open file as archive".

- update, had a friend try with Google broswer and its still corrupted. He tried with Firefox and it worked.

I cannot register even though I bought and paid for the plug-in, it asked for a password where I wasn’t given one. And when I reset password it says new password is incorrect. Customer service is no help what so ever

I entered my email address and reset my password on the Mettle homepage, but I haven't received any emails and am unable to use it.

I purchased FreeForm Pro from aescripts and I cannot remove the Mettle watermark from my project.  I've used your "scripts and plugins app" but when I click the licenses button it directs me back to your website.  I cannot register the product with mettle because apparently you haven't created the login and password like the Mettle error messages said you would?  Please help me register my product and remove the watermark.

Good to hear Nancy Eperjesy. I have owned this product for ten years or more and it keeps disappearing from After Effects when I update the host app'. I'm now on AE 2024 and look forward to utilise FreeForm Pro when it has been updated.

Thank you for the link provided to upgrade to the latest version. My point below is that I purchased this plugin prior to Mettle selling it on this site, so it is not listed in my aescripts + aeplugins manager. This is why I addressed my last post to Nancy Eperjesy. And as viewers can see there is no upgrade pricing provided above.

To be specific I have owned Freeform Pro plugin even prior to Adobe becoming fascinated with it, incorporating it in to AE, then no longer supporting it (just as they did with Grain Surgery for AE and PS). Over the years I have paid Chris and Nancy a small upgrade fee for this plugin, and I see no reason why this should be any different in 2024, unless there are newer, expanded features that weren't available in the last version.

Readers, I wrote to Mettle a few days ago and was told FreeForm Pro is currently being updated.

I'm trying to use a displacement map and have the geometry move towards or away from the camera following the contour of the camera's view frustum.  so in other words, I should not be able to see any distortion from the displacement until I view it from a perspective other than the default 3d camera view.  However, it seems as though the displacement simply moves the geometry in global z instead of towards the camera following the frustum.  Is it possible to get your product to do what I need here?

How come i bought a license and i can't get it ? can't create a new account on Mettle web site, need to ask for a password reset and never get an answer !  i bought the product like 3 days ago and i struggled to find where is the license information ! 

Usually we need to send an email to customer support, now i have to write a public comment to find help or get someone's attention !

I bought this plugin and it's watermarked with no possibility of getting it unwatermarked.

Please could someone at Mettle help me figure this one out? I'm on an urgent deadline and was hoping to use this plugin to get the job done.

Nancy at Mettle is working on an issue Mettle is having with their ISP. This may be affecting you as well. Can you please give us more details so that we can identify if it is the same problem or if it is something else we can help you with. For example, are you getting some kind of error message? Please help us see what you see when trying to register and fail.

if I undeesrtand you well, the short answer is No the product does not have that functionality built in. You may be able to pull off this effect "manually" or via some clever Javascripting.

To folks that have been having issues with activating Mettle products in the last little while and any others who have had gmail issues again. 

Update.

The issues on the Mettle servers have been isolated and a fix has been put into play. Please wait a few hours for proper propagation and try what was failing for you before again. Should work now.

November 2023 I corresponded with Nancy here in the comments and by email. Nancy indicated she would contact me by email when the 2024 version of Freeform Pro was available. However, I have only now discovered the newest version of plugin is available.

Chris and Nancy, I am a Mettle customer going back to the time your company was not represented by aescripts + aeplugins. Which is to say before and after Adobe incorporated FreeForm in After Effects. How do I upgrade to the current version without paying full price? Thank you, Peter

I think I'm having a similar issue to the gmail one. I haven't used FreeForm for over a year. I cam back and have the watermark on everything. I had the liscense installed through aescripts. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't seem t work. I went to my Mettle account and it looks like it's not connecting the activations... 

Any direction would be appreciated.

Is there anyway to control what I imagine is "camera clipping"?
I'm working with Geolayers and Mettle and when I zoom the camera too far back parts of the scene start clipping.

Thanks for the quick response, I've sent in a screen recording. It happens right from default settings if you create a Mettle 3D landscape through GeoLayers and then animate the CAMERA ELEVATION (Position Z) up.

I just updated my AE CC to 2025...working w/ GeoLayers, which just got an update, all is working but I get a pop-up error that Mettle FreeForm Pro is a 'missing effect', even when I re-run the June '24 installer (FreeForm Pro_v1.99.7) we've used recently.  Is there a newer installer (the ones listed on website are actually older v#s) compatible w/ 2025...or do I need to downgrade AE still?  Thx!

the 2025 installers will not be ready for a while. Please use 2024 or earlier products.

Mettle will notify clients when the 2025 installers are ready.
