Thanks, Orrin - yes - there are so many options... these two were just very rough first attempts, and need further finessing, but I can imagine the results using those different settings and look forward to spending more time 'Beatniking'
Thanks again for producing another fantastic script!

cool - BTW - Thanks for the quote! We used it on the product page!
Who needs Netflix binge-watching when you've got Beatnik to play with for hours of fun...?
Cheers,

cool! its amazing how a quick random edit changes the basic nature of an animation...and you can always cut out of it and back to the original at any time too...
Nice - you might want to try it with with a stronger ease, or faster footage to increase the effect. Also, longer footage than the audio track would increase the effect too (btw- careful with that track- thats licensed from audio jungle).
Hi Orrin, thanks for this amazing script. I've just bought a single user license but i've got two computers... one in office and one at home... So the question is very simple... can i install the script on both computers? Thanks in advance... Andrea.
using the trial and trying to follow the tutorial but the trial version only lets me select auto (no beat detection or linear). all the rest is greyed out. Is this a limitation on the trial or is there something off?

Hey Kathleen- The trial is limited. It'll beat detect for you and has limits on the easing types. If you're really interested in exploring the full range of features, I'd suggest purchasing it, and if it doesnt fit your needs, we'll be happy to issue a refund (well, not exactly happy...but you know what I mean).
Is it possible to use beatnik to time remap multiple videos using a single audio layer? I ask because I have longform audio (1.5 hrs) but different video files that I want to remap and it is not letting me because "beatnik already used audio". What do you think?
Hi. I have just bought this, but when installing through the aescripts installer, it will only install to the 2013 version I have still installed, not the 2014 version I use most. I have tried manually installing, too. But, no matter what I do, I cannot find the plugin within any menu?
Hey Gary! Can’t wait to see what you do with it- just take a track with a good beat and go for it! Let us know if you have any questions.
Hi guys
A couple of links to my first tries of your brilliant new script, Beatnik (great name BTW):
Test one, using settings out of the box:

and two, using Montage to spice the slice

Great fun and completely addictive to use!
Cheers,
Gaz
Interesting- looks like the first one could use a higher ease to make it more obvious.

One more quick test of Beatnik, again using the addictive Montage setting with Medium Go easing, to completely change up the edit:

I’d just download a trial and see what happens. If you can get stems that separate out beats, that might work the best. Hope that helps.
