    "Rescue Matte Filler" seems to be a welcome re-working of Red Giant's "Alpha Cleaner" plugin, found in their "Key Correct" suite of plugins. Unfortunately, RG no longer supports their "Key Correct" suite. Perhaps Black ops effects, or another company will consider replacing "Key Correct" with a new keying supplementary suite? As it stands there simply is no plugin that compares with the "Edge Blur" from this suite.

    Hi Peter,
    We'll definitely look into that, it was something we were looking at initially with our next product. We think we don't need it - we have a new plugin coming out very soon ( Rescue Matte Cleaner ) that might well help you in this area, but let us know! 
    Rescue Matte Cleaner has some fairly sophisticated edge algorithms built in and also edge customization you can do, and also rule based removal of artefacts. It's also pretty fast.
