• imageDeepClear

AI powered video enhancement tool for Premiere Pro and After Effects. Enhances image details, reduces noise and improves contrast. The performance is highly dependent on GPU, and some old GPU cards (before 2012) are not supported. Please TRY it before purchase.

  • Hi, was waiting for something like this...
it would be great to have more info on the specific settings, how certain footage work best or worse and an outline on how this differs from ScaleUp or how it works well in conjunction with ScaleUp.
    Thanks!
    cheers

Usually, to sharpen the normal footage, you can set a small deblur value such as 20, larger value will make the image unnatrual (may try to adjust blend slider in this case). However, for the upsampled footage, it is good to set a bigger value, such as 50, depends on the blur level. For the footage content, it is not limited, it is expected to work well for all kinds of objects since a large dataset was used for training the AI network, where a large variety of objects are included. It is apperciated to let we know when it does not work well on some kind of footages, then we can add this kind of footages in training stage to improve this tool.
Comparied with ScaleUp, the DeepClear starts from the full size image, it does not assume the footage is upsampled, i.e. the blur may come from defocus, upsampled or motion blur. And the denoising in DeepClear can handle heavy noisy in low light image, the user can apply DeepClear after the ScaleUp if they want to sharpen image further or denoise the image.
  • I am encountering while using the trial version of the DeepClear plugin. When I attempt to apply the plugin to my video, a grid or pattern appears overlaid on the footage. Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks for your interests in this plugin. The grid overlay will disappear once the plugin is registered.
