I think for it to be a truly PRO bookmark extension and to be priced fairly, a feature that allows you to import .csv bookmarks would be great, as the Premire Pro program offers the option to export them from a sequence, so far I don't know of any. plugin that allows them to be imported into other sequences, I would also like a button that allows moving markers directly from a clip and automatically placing them in the sequence and another button that works the other way around, moving markers from a sequence to one or more clips. It's annoying having to deal with markers within a clip and having to manually write them one by one again into another sequence. I don't know if it's possible, it's just an idea I have and I'll tell you, maybe implementing buttons that allow you to move them up and down, it would save anyone's work time to have those functions.

Hi Jorge,
Thanks for your feedback! I've explored online and found several extensions capable of importing .csv files into any desired sequence. I'll definitely consider adding this feature in an upcoming update.
As for your second suggestion, let me clarify. With Markers Pro, you can cut, copy, and paste markers, enabling you to achieve the desired outcome, if I understood you correctly. However, it might not be a one-click process.
I am looking for a way to add differently coloured range markers on the fly during playback using in and out points WITH KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS. Is that possible with your plugin?
Usually I have all my number keys one to eight mapped to all eight marker colours, but I would prefer region markers.
Can I set those number keys to automatically add a range marker to the selected in and out point without interrupting playback?

Hi,
it can add markers to in and out points and not interrupt playback. But Markers Pro doesn't support keyboard shortcuts due to Premiere Pro limitations, and shortcuts only can work when extension panel is highlighted (when window has blue outline). Currently there're are few actions you can perform by pressing keyboard:
1. when adding a marker window activated you can press "return" to add marker or "ctrl/cmd+return" if comment field is active.
2. Press "tab" to switch between fields when adding a marker
In your situation you can create macros that will act as shortcuts and perform what you want. I'd suggest using BetterTouchTool on mac and AutoHotKey on windows. BTT is more user friendly while AHK has more learning curve. There are AHK alternatives on Windows but I haven't tried them myself.
The macro suppose to perform those actions in your case:
1. Press "add marker" button by simulating a mouse click
2. WIth mouse clicks press dropdown menu and select desired color
3. send "return" input to add a marker
I'll look into creating a shortcuts that change marker color when "add marker" window is active so users can create macros with less steps.
Either way there's a 10 day free trial and and you can see if it's something that will benefit your work.
Thank you for this plugin. I too am looking for a keyboard shortcut or one that works with Loupdeck. The main reason I would buy this plugin is for the Add Marker for In and Out points. This is huge. Premiere Pro has no way of doing this right? How can I use your extension with a hot key, either uising a keyboard or loupdeck? Is this possible? Thanks again.

Hello Ed,
Premiere Pro can't add markers to in and out points, as far as I know. To use extension with hotkeys you can create a macro with BetterTouchTool on mac or with AutoHotkey on windows, as was described in other comment, and assign key combination that triggers it. I'm not personally familiar with Loupdeck but pretty sure it can send keyboard inputs so it's possible to assign macro trigger to a button on it.
Thanks to this amazing plugin. However, I have a question. If you look at the toolbar, there is a function called 'unlock special markers'. I have no idea what 'special markers' means and how does it work. Could you please let me know?

Hello and thank you for getting a copy of Markers Pro, I'm glad you find it useful!
Special markers refer to markers that have different start and end points (look at the marker under the word "pro" in the logo).
This setting is relevant when the start or the end points are outside of your selection:
if you set it to "locked" other point that's not within a selected range will also move, having it unlocked will not move the point that's outside of the range.
Make sure to check out tutorial for more information:
I'm glad to hear that Markers Pro saves you a lot of time!
Regarding your request about pop up winodw, there are several ways of closing it.
When writing a name you can press enter to add a marker
When writing comment, press shift+enter
To cancel the action and close the pop-up window, press ESC
For more information refer to markers pro tutorial:
Hope that helps! If you'll have any more questions make sure to open a support ticket for more convenience
Cheers,

I'm looking to change the color of multiple markers I'm selecting by word filtering, but everytime I select them, every markers changes color.
Is there a way to do that?
