Agreed it would be really neat if it could output as vector, but I don't think it's feasible with the complexity of the shapes required, especially per frame when animated.

This is an absolute game changer! I've suggested this exact plugin to a couple developers in the last year or two, so I'm glad to see someone finally made it! I think one feature I'd like to see in a future version is being able to have color control over the top/bottom/sides of letters. Right now you can only make them all one color or a gradient. It'd be cool if I could make the bottom of letters black, and the sides another color, and then we can obviously change the face already. Just a thought!
Hi, Can I add a 'back' to an extruded shape layer set to '3d Camera' ? Currently I can only seem to get the shape to extrude and when rotating 180 degrees I get a reverse of the front. I'd like to put something else on the back. For instance on a spinning device, the front would be the screen and the back is a solid color shape... Is this possible with this plugin?
Been trying out the plugin and it's great. Quick query though, is there any way to control the stroke more? I'm thinking with trim paths. I'm replicating artwork that has a stroke, but not all the way around the object. So it'd be useful to 'get rid' of the sections that I don't want to see.
I imagine this is a limitation of the script though?
