What the script does:
Allows you to get the look of LCD (or you may see like CRT) like effect in 1-click.
And you can easily adjust the separate amount of RGB channels and the resolution of pixelation.

How to use:
1. Select the layer you want to apply the effect.
2. Run the script from File menu > Scripts > Run Script File…
3. Open and execute LCDeffect.jsx
4. You can adjust the sliders to make variations of the effect. Enjoy!

Usage Tutorial:

This script works well with AE7, CS3, CS4, CS5
(Archived sample aep is made on CS4)

Absolutely fantastic effect! I am trying to make sense of how this look is created, been analysing the effect but my After Effects knowledge is limited. If someone could outline the basic processes used to make this effect, I would greatly appreciate it as I am trying to re-create a similar effect in Nuke

Hey, just intalled this into my UI Script Panel and it crashes AE every time I apply it to a layer. Oh dear!
