  • Smart asset sorting - Now with search-by-name, no prefixes needed.
  • Import/export - Swap your structures with friends for seamless teamwork.
  • UI Glow-Up - Looks sleeker, works smoother.

  • Use Extensions (like .png or .c4d).
  • Spot Missing Files.

How to Use Declutter

Main Page

Kick off the organization magic by choosing a folder structure! From here, you can also create, delete, or edit any structure.

  • New Structure: Start fresh with a blank slate to create something new.
  • Import: Bring in an existing folder structure to use or modify.
  • Edit: Open the editor to customize and tweak your folder setup.
  • Delete: Clear out unused or old structures with a single click.
  • Preferences: Change settings like automatically saving your project before organizing or removing unused folders.

Tip: Want to organize only specific assets? Select the assets and folders you want to target. To sort everything, just deselect all.

UI Main Page

Edit Folder Structure

In the Edit page, you can customize your folder setup to suit your workflow. Rename folders, adjust filters, add labels, and create subfolders.

  • Add Top Folder: Start with a top-level folder to structure your project.
  • Label: Assign colors to folders to make navigation easier.
  • Filters: Define specific filters for each folder and let Declutter handle the sorting for you.
  • Add Folder: Create as many subfolders as you need for better organization.
  • Remove Folder: Delete folders and their subfolders if they're no longer needed.

UI Edit Page

Preferences

  • Save project before organizing: Automatically saves your project before any changes are made.
  • Create top folder with structure's name: Wraps all organized items inside a single, clearly labeled folder.
  • Remove old empty folders: Deletes unused folders that were already in your project.
  • Remove new empty folders: Cleans up any new folders that end up empty after sorting.
  • Ignore uncategorized items: Skips items that don't match any filter. If disabled, they'll be moved to the root folder.
