Description

ASH Syntax Highlighter

Code Highlighting for AE Text Layers

FUI artists: building plausible code screens is just the worst.

Having to manually select every other word in a text layer and set it to a different colour?
Tedious, boring and prone to error – so let ASH Syntax Highlighter colour it for you!

Simply select a text layer of your (real) code, pick your language and theme, and we'll take care of the rest!

Using an established syntax highlighting library, ASH brings real code highlighting to AE text layers.

MacOS Warning: ASH is currently incompatible with MacOS 12.3 and newer, due to OS issues.

ASH was written in collaboration with Alan Fregtman (@alanwritescode)
