Learn how to create a gas planet Nebula in After Effects using Mettle FLUX and CC Sphere. Charles Yeager (yeagerfilm.com) walks us through the process and provides a free project file, which can be downloaded from the link below. He creates an equirectangular comp, 2:1 ratio, which can be animated and wrapped seamlessly on a sphere.

FLUX is a 3D Volumetric Fractal Flames plugin for After Effects and Premiere Pro.

It’s great for creating Nebulas, Volumetric haze and Fog, fantastic skies, and much more.

Supported formats are 360° Monoscopic, Stereoscopic and Flat (Traditional).
