Author Notes
There are plenty of tutorials explaining how to create text boxes in Adobe After Effects that automatically resize with your text as it's typed on (for a super easy single layer solution see https://mamoworld.com/motion-graphics...). But what if you need more complex shapes - like a heart, cloud, circle, diamond or star? In this tutorial you learn a very easy solution to create these kinds of shapes and let them resize automatically to fit behind a text (or any other layer in your After Effects project).
