Author Notes

What to do when the result of a dron timelapse stabilized with the warp stabilizer does not look good? Use mocha instead! The workflow is a bit more complicated, but also gives you greated control. While normal stabilization approaches with mocha only animate position, scale and rotation, the technique shown in this tutorial goes one step beyond that and uses a corner pin for stabilization. That way, also perspective changes can be elminimated to some extend and you can also add camera moves with a perspective feel. We use MochaImport+ in this tutorial, since its expression-driven tracking data allows to keyframe the corner pin on top of the track.
