The open source ProEXR plugin been updated to bring Cryptomatte to After Effects. Cryptomatte is an open source technology created by Psyop that allows for automatic ID matte generation from 3D scenes which dramatically reduces the number of mattes needed for 3D compositing.

A new version of Stardust modular particle system for Adobe After Effects is about to be unleashed, offering some extremely powerful and exciting new tools. An early adopters version for macOS will be released next Friday, Sept 29, 2017. A Windows version will follow in October. It will be a free update to all current customers.
