3D World is one of the most respected and prestigious industry magazines. Their December issue focuses on VR, and they included a review of SkyBox Studio, our 360/VR Production Tools for After Effects. We are pleased to announce that they awarded SkyBox Studio their “Highly Commended” badge.

Learn how to stabilize 360 Drone footage and add VFX, all in After Effects with SkyBox Studio. He begins by stabilizing the 360 footage using SkyBox Studio module "SkyBox Convertor", with the "Re-orient Camera" feature. Alex also composites an explosion with smoke on the horizon, a flash of light, and radioactive particles. He uses "Re-orient Camera" to also add a camera shake during the explosion.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the SkyBox Studio 360 CountDown Challenge! Entries had to show a creative 360 video countdown that was made in After Effects with SKyBox Studio. The judges looked for an immersive experience, that brought the viewer into 360 space. Thanks to all who participated! The judges had a difficult task!

Can incorporate live action, or can be graphics and text generated in After Effects. Be creative! Anything goes – you are helping to create a new film-making vocabulary for 360.
